Spiritual companionship, also known as spiritual direction, is a space to tell your sacred story to an open and non-judgmental spiritual companion, and to deepen and expand your understanding of that story as it continues to unfold. Spiritual direction is an invitation to all spiritual seekers to walk their path with the Holy of their understanding. All seekers are welcome, regardless of where you are on your path. As a director, I provide space, perspective, insight, and structure as needed for your spiritual process. I encourage art and creativity of all kinds as a spiritual practice that connects us more deeply with our Creator.

Individual
Individual sessions are one-on-one between a spiritual director and a directee. Sessions are one hour. Sessions are available via video conference or in person in the greater Cleveland area. To begin individual work, the first session is a free 90-minute discernment session. This allows us to see if spiritual direction is right for you and if we are compatible as director and directee. Pricing
I offer a sliding scale of 3 rates for individual sessions. A standard rate, a reduced rate if the standard rate would be a hardship, and a supporting rate for those in a place to give generously. Please carefully consider your own resources to discern which rate might be right for you.

Reduced: $50
These rates are per session, after the initial free discernment session. There is no difference in the services offered based on these rates.
Group
Group spiritual companionship is a process in which people gather together regularly to witness one another’s sacred stories. They are seeking support and companionship on their spiritual journey, and they agree to support and companion others on their respective spiritual journeys. My role as the facilitator is to provide prompts and create a safe space where each member has time to share as they wish. I will gently guide group members through the process of listening deeply without judgment and in asking questions that invite the speaker to deepen their understanding.
Group spiritual direction requires a commitment to meet monthly for 9 months. Sessions are 2 hours. Groups are made of a minimum of 4 members and a maximum of 8 members. There is an interview process for anyone interested in group spiritual direction. This helps to build a compatible group and confirm that group spiritual direction suits the individual. Like individual direction, groups are available via video conferencing or in person. Hybrid groups are not available.

Creative
Creative sessions bring various art forms into the spiritual companionship process, which can unfold in a variety of ways. Some folx bring a topic or question that they wish to reflect on through creativity, while others ask that I offer a prompt or ask an open-ended question. I can offer a creative reflection practice in response, or we can let Spirit lead through freeform creative expression. Creative forms will depend on the materials available and the inclinations of the companioned. Visual art forms are the most common, though music and creative storytelling can also be insightful. These sessions are 90 minutes to allow time for both creativity and reflection, and are available in person or via video conferencing.
